Who sends the texts: MatthewFlix, a private, invite-only home streaming service operated by Matthew Wallen (sole proprietor), from the phone number (276) 212-1797.
Who receives them: only registered MatthewFlix members who signed up for texts on the MatthewFlix text message preferences page. Texting is optional; MatthewFlix works in full without it.
Why: watch-party invitations for the member's own MatthewFlix account, plus one sign-up confirmation. No marketing or promotions.
Message frequency varies, up to 10 messages per month, only when there is a watch-party invitation. Msg & data rates may apply.
On the preferences page, enter your mobile number and tick the box agreeing to receive texts, or press "No thanks - skip texts". The box is never pre-ticked. Texting is entirely optional: it is not required to use MatthewFlix, to get an account, or to join a watch party (invitations always appear inside the app). Opting in gives no library access; MatthewFlix accounts are granted by the operator separately.
Reply STOP to any MatthewFlix text to stop all texts. Reply HELP for help, or email support@matthewflix.com.
